Hi, my name is Chris Whitney. I started fishing at a very young age with my dad in southern MN and quickly fell in love with fishing and the outdoors. By the age of 12 I knew exactly what I wanted to do with my life. The first chance I got after graduating high school I moved to Walker to pursue a career in the fishing world. I spent a couple of my first summers up here traveling around the mid-west fishing as a co-angler on the Professional Walleye Trail to learn from the best and enhance my angling skills when I wasn't guiding or working at a resort. In the years following to current time I competed in many walleye and musky tournaments with some wins and many top ten finishes. With my 15+ years of guiding experience I feel very comfortable guiding families, beginners and hard core fisherman and can adjust trips accordingly to make for the best trip possible for you group! I have spent a lot of time learning all species on the lake including walleye, musky, bass, panfish and pike. Fishing is my only business and I strive to offer high quality trips that are fun, safe and educational experiences that will leave memories to last a lifetime!
